Section 2 • Authoritative Policy

Booking, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

Official Document Last updated: 9 September 2026 • Jurisdiction: Queensland, Australia • Business: Kadda Photography
Important Information: These policies are tailored to the operating details supplied for Kadda Photography and are intended for publication on its Australian website. Nothing in these policies is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
2.1

Booking deposit

A 30% booking deposit is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the booked session or event unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing.

2.2

Complimentary reschedule

A client may request one complimentary reschedule by giving Kadda Photography at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. The replacement date is subject to availability.

2.3

Additional rescheduling

A second or later rescheduling request, or a request made with less than 24 hours' notice, may be treated as a cancellation or may attract a reasonable rescheduling charge where permitted by law and communicated before the change is accepted.

2.4

Client cancellation

If the client needs to cancel, they should contact Kadda Photography as soon as possible. Where no payment has been made, no refund is necessary. Where an amount has already been paid, any refund will depend on the circumstances, work already performed, non-recoverable costs and the client's rights under applicable law.

2.5

No-show

If a client does not attend and does not provide notice, Kadda Photography may decline to provide a complimentary replacement booking and may require payment or a new booking arrangement to the extent permitted by law.

2.6

Cancellation by Kadda Photography

If Kadda Photography must cancel and cannot provide a suitable rescheduled service, any amount paid for services not supplied will be refunded, subject to the client's rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2.7

Change of mind

Kadda Photography is not required to provide a refund solely because a client changes their mind where the service has been properly supplied and no statutory right to a remedy applies. This does not affect any rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2.8

Consumer guarantees

If photography services fail to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law, the client may be entitled to a remedy depending on whether the failure is major or can be remedied. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
