Photography Terms & Conditions

By booking, purchasing or accepting photography services from Kadda Photography, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions together with any package description, quotation, booking confirmation and other policy expressly incorporated into the booking.

A 30% booking deposit is required to secure your photography session or event date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due on the day of the photography session or event. Card and digital wallet payments (all major credit/debit cards, eftpos, Apple Pay, and Google Pay) may be processed securely through Square. A booking may be subject to availability and is not transferable to another person without Kadda Photography's agreement.

The client receives the inclusions stated in the package or written quotation accepted at booking. Additional time, locations, edited images, travel or other extras may incur the published add-on price or another price agreed before supply.

Travel within 100 km of Kadda Photography's included service area is provided without an additional travel charge. Travel beyond the included 100 km area is charged at $1 per kilometre unless a different written travel arrangement is agreed. Parking, permits, venue access charges or unusually significant travel expenses may be quoted separately where applicable.

The client is responsible for arriving on time, providing accurate booking information, obtaining access to locations, and ensuring relevant participants are available and reasonably cooperative. Kadda Photography cannot guarantee particular photographs where circumstances outside the photographer's reasonable control prevent them.

Late arrival by the client may reduce available shooting time where another booking, venue restriction or other commitment prevents the session from being extended. Any extension is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

The client acknowledges that photography is a creative service. Composition, posing, lighting, colour treatment, cropping, image selection and editing remain subject to Kadda Photography's professional and artistic judgement. A booking does not guarantee replication of another photographer's work or an exact recreation of reference photographs.

RAW, unedited, rejected, duplicate, test or technically unsuitable files are not included unless Kadda Photography expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Final delivery consists of the professionally selected and edited images included in the purchased package or upgrade.

Outdoor sessions may be affected by weather, lighting, access restrictions, safety issues or location rules. Where conditions make a session unsafe or impractical, Kadda Photography may propose a reasonable alternative time or location.

For weddings and events, the client should provide relevant schedules, key moments and reasonable access information in advance. Kadda Photography will use reasonable professional efforts to document important moments but cannot guarantee every person, interaction or moment will be photographed.

Kadda Photography uses reasonable care in providing its services and managing image files. If an equipment, storage or other failure materially affects delivery, Kadda Photography will provide the remedies required by applicable law and may, where appropriate, offer a reshoot, partial refund or other reasonable solution based on the circumstances.

Neither party is responsible for delay or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as serious illness, dangerous weather, natural disaster, government restriction, venue closure or similar event. The parties will seek a reasonable rescheduling or other solution, subject to rights that apply under law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kadda Photography is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from matters outside its reasonable control. Nothing in this clause excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
